The Advent Season

I hope this article greets you all well! Sorry, I haven’t written to y’all in a bit. I want to talk into the beauty of Advent today! So let’s dive into it!
Advent is about waiting for Christ’s birthday (December 25th). Each day is a small celebration of Christmas, leading up to the birth of our Lord. In my household, we read from the Bible, and do a special task that spreads the Christmas spirit; like baking cookies, decorating the tree, or watching a Christmas movie.
Advent is a simple way of honoring Jesus’ birthday. And it’s so fun! Just find your own plan, maybe that looks like reading the Bible leading up to His birth, or doing a series of prayer, it doesn’t have to be fancy. It’s really all about respecting the coming of the Lord!
